This project is a blend of world music, ambient-techno anddance with a strong influence from film scoring music. The ZOT project started in San Francisco, California (1998)and has been played in international undergroundparties, computers and trips around the bay area. |

Artist History
Simon Gomez started playing synthesizers in Boston, (1985).After moving back to Caracas, he played inseveral bands with a strong psychedelic influence.Finally, he became part of "La Maquina Azul", an underground rock fusion band with influences from Latin Americanmusic, funk, rock and jazz. After leaving this band in 1991,he produced and composed electronic music, however, since year 2000he has blended world music, especially from the Middle East, with otherelectronic forms. |
