Artist History
RUBBER PLANET IS CURRENTLY SEEKING PRO LOVEL MANAGEMENT AND LABEL INTEREST!!!!The band actually started years ago in Denver when Silver and Vitamin G became friends as teenagers and played in various bands throughout the area. After high school Silver Attended the The Vocal Institute of Technology in Hollywood, CA and Vitamin G tagged along to pursue his rock -n- roll dreams. Meanwhile on the East Coast, Brice was busy touring from New York to North Carolina and running a Baltimore based recording studio. By 1997, Brice had become burnt out on touring and disillusioned with the music scene so he moved to Colorado to get a fresh start, clear his head, and concentrate on writing tunes in the beautiful Rocky Mountains. This is where he met Silver and Vitamin G who had since returned to their homeland. The trio wrote together and played open stages under the moniker Rubber Planet. After playing with more drummers than Spinal Tap they have finally decided on a talented young drummer known only as Leo 7. Rubber Planet has appeared on WB2, played on The Warped Tour, received airplay on several local radio stations, filled clubs throughout the midwest and the momentum is building rapidly! |

Press Reviews
Rubber Planet bounces around the pop universe with a classic songwriting approach that results in catchy, radio-ready anthems; luckily, the players possess the talent to make that proposition interesting. ~~Laura Bond, Westword Magazine ***************** Bouncy, fun, radio-friendly but not trite. It's playtime music, designed to get under your skin and remind you life isn't all tests and proposals. It's the feeling of a Friday night after you cashed your check and your bills are paid, and you're sitting at happy hour with your friends. The world of no Monday mornings, no "performance reviews": just good times and good feelings. ~~Catalina, Denver Music Plus ******************* I always know when I have encountered a great band when their songs get lodged in my brain. While most bands struggle for that one or two potential hit songs in their repartee that fans will want to hear and cheer for, RUBBER PLANET have a ton! Of hits and fans. (Rubberheads) And the songs will stick to you like glue. If you happen to catch them live, it’s all over. End of the fucking story. You’re a fan! ~~Maris The Great, www.maristhegreat.com ***************** Rubber Planet's music is very easy to sing along with and we would recommend a purchase of their album "Just Visiting"! ~~Dani a.k.a. Cyberdom, www.denver-rocks.com ******************* Rubber Planet is pure energy from the first notes…this is one band that knows to have fun on stage and how to share that excitement with the audience! ~~Jessica Vogelgesang, Go Go Magazine |
