Artist description
Kingston, Ontario's Loganseed has been making music for over seven years, most recently recording under the
guidance of The Tragically Hip's Gord Sinclair at the Bathouse Studio. It's a unique sound. Think Incubus melody, mixed
with Red Hot Chili Pepper rhythm, and maybe turn everything up a notch or two.
Loganseed began rehearsals in 1994. Carl Murray, singer, songwriter and occasional guitarist, talked his brother Drew
into buying a drum kit. After 7 years and over 100 gigs, Loganseed's strength lies in the rhythm section, where Drew is
augmented by bass player Phil Saxe. Of course, aggressive music is nothing without aggressive guitars, and
effects-wizard Brandon Bullett adds the perfect complement to the band with tight lead licks and precise power chords.
Loganseed has been spreading their sound around Eastern and Central Ontario, including gigs at The Horseshoe
Tavern, Zaphod Beeblebrox and The Opera House. They've also been seen sharing the stage The Headstones, Sum 41
and Weeping Tile.
"Dont go to see Loganseed expecting a Jewel concert. Instead, go see Loganseed to get your head rocked off." Neil
Young, Queen's Journal.
