    Press Reviews
"Too Fast for Conditions is an instant house party played with verve and feeling. Owens blows a hurricane of lusty, full throated riffs, recalling such greats as James Cotton and Paul Butterfield. another standout is Kevin McKendree who recalls blues legends Otis Spann and Pinetop Perkins. Owens and band jump and swing in the traditions of Wynonie Harris and Louis Jordan, and when you get down to it, that's enough! -Eric Feber/Virginia Pilot"From west coast grooves to uptown moves, Li'l Ronnie and The Grand Dukes are an outstanding mix of jumpin' blues...." -Jimmy Silvia/WNSB"...it's really refreshing and exciting to watch a session done the old fashioned way- live!" -Eric E. Stanley/Bebop Boogie & Blues Revue
