Artist description
Cabahug is driven by the songwriting talents of the
band's namesake, Roderick Cabahug. While only Roderick
and the band's drummer, Francis D'Angelo, are permanent
members, Cabahug invites accomplished and energetic musicians
to occassionally fill the bass, keyboard and lead guitar
roles during live performances. The end result
is a collection of cohesive songs that are driven
from the same raw sound that Cabahug fans have come
to depend on. In live performances, fill-in musicians
have brought the uniquely fresh sounds of D'Angelo's drumming
and Cabahug's vocals/rhythm guitar to new heights.
Each performance is different from the next, however
the same energy and excitement for the music keep
the band sounding fresh and interested in the music
and the crowd. These most recent tracks are from
Cabahug's new ep, self-titled "Cabahug" and
demonstrate the band's versatility and grasp of a
new music collaboration, overlapping layers and styles
most absent in today's bland music. |

"We're impressed, very pleasing to the ear, our slant and scope picked up on a real good sixties type sound blended with some fusionistic guitar riffs, sounds great!"...Ed Grainger, Gravel Bath |
