Press Reviews
Listen.com: Hidden in a wash of natural-sounding synthesizer ambiance, throbbing electronic pulses sneak up on you. The variety of tones ranges from fluffy and surreal to 100% bass thump. - Jesse T.
Gods of Music: "Singularity" has what it takes to be a new age hit. Smooth beats, surrounded by gently moving piano and light synths make this song a joy to listen to.
The instrumentation of "Singularity" shows how well crafted this song is. The piano isn't just the same thing played over and over, but rather is stimulating and altogether a beautiful sound. The electric guitars that come in later in the song blend well with the piano, smoothing out the whole song into nice layers of tectured musical bliss.
The important thing, I believe, is that since this is an instrumental, T.Sonic put plenty of time into making sure this recording was as good as it could be. There are no major issues with the recording quality, all the instruments fit together well and make this song into something worth listening to.
This song would also be successful as a pop song, because I could imagine hearing vocals put to it. This would be the kind of music that would sound really good in a pop radio format, with the right vocalist! As a whole, T.Sonic has a nicely written track that shows the quality of his work. His musical touch is what will make people want to listen to "Singularity" again and again. - Jonathan Sanders |
