Artist History
Thorn Oil began in the Spring of 1992 in Charleston, South Carolina, as an idea between two friends, Joe & Bill, who wanted to expand their guiotar playing to new heights and greater goals. Later that Spring, Julie was auditioned for vocals. Her resonating and angelic voice fit perfectly with the flowing sounds of the guitars. John was then brought on as a driving force with his experienced drumming style.Thorn Oil signed with ZOGO ENTERTAINMENT, Corp. in September of 1994 for management and rcording development. After releasing the "SPACELESS" album, the members of the band have gone on to work on various solo and band projects in the New England and Southeastern areas of the country. |
