Artist History Al Funk was a mild-mannered performer in the Towsonite B.B. King Singers and close associate of one John Stronghair. After many extracurricular adventures, musical and otherwise, a heel turn by Stronghair sent Al into a lengthy period of abject depression. A compassionate and gentle Edward Funk came along and helped Al through his troubled times, promising to form an alliance stronger than any seen before in the Towson area. Many victories and a few defeats have been seen in the years since. Currently, the DFAll-Stars is comprised of Ed & Al Funk, Earl Funk, and Rico Funk. The stalwart Pete Funk is currently in seclusion. With the mad genius of Ed "The Stretcher" Schwabeland whispering in their ears, and the support of their legion of fans, many feel that The Dory Funk All-Stars may, in fact, be invincible.
