Artist History Julie Thery began her classical training at the tender age of seven in her homeland of France and began a career in opera at age fifteen. Her career took a turn shortly after being introduced to classical guitar at the Conservatory in Paris. She quickly adapted to the instrument and soon after began writing, playing and singing her own material. It wasn't long before she came to the attention of a French cabaret company, and toured with them for three years before coming to thre US. France's loss was America's gain. Those who have met and heard her all agree that she is: "The best thing to come from France since the Statue of Liberty". Her music is warm, Sensual and Romantic.
