Artist description
Jason has no formal training, he has learned by ear and being born with the talent. He once was asked to play with a band that was going to tour as the front act (opening act) for the "beach boys”, but he was unable to do it at the time, because of other engagements. Now wishes he had, simply for the notoriety. He is a very in depth writer, and does not write prolifically, but only from the heart and when the mood strikes. He has played with several bands but has his own style and is working to locate his own abilities and craft his own art. So that is why he hasn't stayed with some of the bands. Plus he is torn between the club scenes, and trying to avoid paying his dues in that manner because he has seen how it has hurt others with talent in the business. He has had a lot of radio airplay in Pennsylvania, and other radio stations, but will be receiving other airplay as well, as his promotion continues. He does have the material, but is quite the perfectionist, and they (the songs) will merge with him as they become what he expects them to be in relating his feelings to the listeners. He is trying to relate at his young age, the feelings and consciousness not only to his age group but to all age groups that will take the time to feel and hear what is said. His music may seem dark and distant at some times, but then bright as day on the next song. I look for a flowing of art to come forth from him, as his art increases, and feel it will fill its listeners with the truthfulness his art reveals. His music will in reality reveal the truth of the meaning of THE ARTS in music and words expressed in song. |
