Artist History
It was November 1996 when Finn (vocals, keys) and Nayve (bass) disbanded their acid blues group, the Empty Pockets and began 4-Track recordings with s'Weed (drums) and Dewdrow (vocals, guitar) from Rump Funky, a fusion group of talented musicians. The result of these sessions gave birth to the Feloniou$ Munks. Shortly afterwards, McHoule approached Urban Must Music poohbah, Max Wise, with a tape containing their original basement demo of "Flim Flam Man from Flin Flon, Man.". That got the ball rolling, between March and May of 1997, Naughty (guitar), Nayve, Hans (keys) and Slim (effects) got on board to form the nucleus displaying their talents on their debut release, "Could we have your attention, please...". Shortly afterwards, through his song writing partner, Krainmaker (guitar/engineer), Finn connected with groundbreaking producer Truman MacDadee (programmer) and recording began in earnest. Since that time the band has recorded over 40 songs and currently have two more albums worth of unreleased material that keeps getting better. |
