Artist description Backflipannie is Lori Jacobs and Lynn Verdone. They are an acoustic guitar duo who have performed in the Northeastern US, Europe, and by way of a live Voice Of America broadcast, even China. Both have contributed their own songs to the album and show great strength in vocals and their guitar playing. The music has a little bit of everything from rock, jazz, ballads, even some soft folk tunes. Powerful harmonies accentuatetheir complementary singing and writing style.

Artist History 1999 finalist's for Philadelphia's Lilith Fair, "backflipannie" was formed in June of 1997. 14 years prior to that Lori Jacobs and Lynn Verdone met by way of an audition that resulted in the formation of a Top 40 band in northeast Philadelphia called "Attitude". Both musicians had an early start in their music careers performing professionally since their early teens. Both also pursued music in college as their majors. Lori specialized in trumpet and Lynn specialized in guitar. The extent of their collective experience has including Top 40, Classic Rock, Jazz, Classical, and Acoustic music. "backflipannie" accomplishments include radio airplay in Philadelphia, Boston, Connecticut, Colorado, Canada and Germany.
