Artist History Pioneering Choreographer/Director, Kristin Freya, founded Vox Medusa in 1995 with the intentions of exploring the untold stories of female archetypes through the integration of new technologies and mediums with dance. Kristin has enjoyed collaborating and playing with the endless possibilities of mixing mediums such as computer animation, the internet, sculpture, illustration, electronic music and spoken word. With each medium she added, a new collaborative partner was introduced into Vox Medusa, facilitating a diverse and constant state of creative growth. Five years of collaboration, performing, and endless experimentation produced the epic performance "Cleopatra: Ambitious Child".
