Artist description
U-Free is a union of several musicians and sound producers who live and work in different cities: St. Petersburg, Moscow and Berlin. When we feel like playing music together we meet in a studio and record new songs. The album “Sliding wheels talisman” was recorded at SBI studios Moscow in 1994. It’s our message to a man, that drives throughout his life. Basically, it’s what we would like ourselves to listen to while driving. The name of the album was made of a concept of a talisman that according to the legends saves a person from any trouble on his way. Talismans work better when they are given, so just as we give you this music; we hope you will pass this mood to someone else.In 1996 one of the world’s best animators Alexander Tatarski (Pilot studio) made a funny cartoon on one of the U-Free songs. This video features his famous characters Carbofos and Pilot Bros. This video can be watched on MTV Russia, Canal+ (France) and other European channels. |
