Artist History
The PNS were started in 1993 by Judge Mikey Mike D & MC God X when they both decided that it would be a good idea to become pop stars despite the fact that they had never touched a musical instrument in their lives. They quickly learnt the A,E & G Chords and started to put together some tunes. To mask their inabilities with their instruments, funny lyrics were brought to the fore and these two untalented musicians became a minor hit with their drum machine 'Ringo' in the three piece combo, 'Ron Reg & Ringo.'By a bizzare coincidence, 'Ringo' was sacked to be replaced by 'The Kaiser' on drums and from this point the band went from strength to strenth. The boys decided that the music was still missing something and they decided that a keyboard player was needed. Prince Fingers was eventually hired (probably cos he was the only one who could afford a keyboard, and musically the PNS were complete.Realising the limitations of his vocals, Judge Mikey Mike D decided to step aside and Ian Curtis soundalike (at least on a good day), Sir Miles Remington IV was hired. (the funniest thing is that is his real name!)The PNS then hit the road, embarking on a major tour of various pubs and clubs around Hong Kong. The fans wanted more so the PNS hired a session guitarist, (The Bergermeister) and recorded a CD, 'Legco-a-go-go' which became an instant smash at Tower Records in HK.The PNS are a legend that will live in the hearts and minds of the Hong Kong people forever. |
