Artist History
Spooner grew out of some channeled creative energy that needed an outlet. Known to rock the canoe up in the Pair'o'Lakes region of Wisconsin, the trio, later adding Fritzel, started their madness in a canoe on Lincoln Lake in Spooner, WI. Trevor, Sam and Andrew found a quick liking to outdoor concerts and rock the lake in a megaphone canoe as frequently as time allows. While Trevor toyed with his guitar, Sam and Andrew knocked their paws raw on the sides of the boat, creating a sound unfamiliar to the Spooner area: music. As fellow volunteers screamed out of the cabin to witness the first known concert, the guys realized they were onto something. Eight months, a trumpet, one donated drum set later... here we are live from Guild Hall... Please give a warm welcome to Spooner! |
