Press Reviews
"Spirulina... breaks new ground in a fusion of punk, art-rock, soul and even a hint of jazz... Kiely's unique, haunting voice, ranging from Chrissie Hynde whines and Patti Smith growls to the angst-filled 90s wails of Hole's Courtney Love and a crooning reminiscent of early 70s soul divas demands absolute attention. That, and their tight, professional energy make Spirulina's performances riveting - whether they're playing in a tiny room or a full-sized rock club." - The Prague Post, August 99 |
