    Artist description
Pile of heads is not your average band. The members have, in the past worked with musicians from Filter, Prong, Halford, Rob Zombie’s band and more. They’ve recorded for Capital, Epic, Atlantic and Roadrunner records. They’ve shared stages from coast to coast with such heavy hitters as Slipknot, Rob Zombie and Fear Factory, but that’s not what makes pile of heads unique. Want to understand? LISTEN TO IT NOW!

    Artist History
Through sheer hard work and determination, New York's Pile of Heads have positioned themselves securely at the top of what is to be the next wave of heavy bands. Whether winning the support of music pioneers (Prong's Tommy Victor remixed a song from the band’s very first demo) or gathering experience (the members have worked with some of the biggest names in heavy music today), there’s no doubt Pile of Heads are primed and ready for success. Skeptical? LISTEN TO IT NOW! Immediately following their much acclaimed 2000 release “DIY (self-produced demos)”, Pile of Heads began a full-on internet assault. They were instantly embraced by such monster sites as Anti-mtv.com, mp3.com, Pimp Rock Palace and more. All of these web sites ran significant features, praising Pile of Heads and their music. The band’s songs instantly climbed up the mp3.com charts, eventually landing squarely in the #2 and #3 spots. Their endless string of live shows won over countless new fans throughout the east coast and Midwest. “DIY”, as its name implies was recorded and mixed by the band members themselves on only 8 tracks. Released to the public, only after an overwhelming demand, (The recordings were initially to be used exclusively by the band, for song writing purposes) “DIY (self-produced demos)” has, to date sold over 2000 copies without polished production and without the benefit of artwork! The year 2002 brings the release of a brand new Pile of Heads CD. The band again recorded the entire disc on their own, but took things a step farther by mixing, mastering and even designing their own artwork for the new disc! The result is “SUPERNATURALENEMIES”. This disc quickly took over the alternative metal charts on mp3.com. There it rocketed to the top of the heap, bringing songs from Pile of Heads’ first disc along with it. The result being, four Pile of Heads songs occupying the four top spots on the charts simultaneously!! The band hit the road immediately following the release of “SUPERNATURALENEMIES” and continues to build their fan base by winning over audiences in an ever-growing number of U.S. cities. The band’s street team has grown to a size, larger than most bands’ mailing lists. The sales of “SUPERNATURALENEMIES” are promising to far surpass the numbers set by the band’s previous release. The roller coaster that is Pile of Heads, shows no signs of stopping. Those who are along for the ride wouldn’t have it any other way. Skeptical? LISTEN TO IT NOW!
