Artist description
I'm a composer who works primarily in film scoring. Most of my work thus far has been symphonic, and I've been lucky enough to work with highly talented live ensembles on many of my projects to date. I enjoy the blend of traditional symphonic approach with the energy, harmonic language, and sometimes instrumentation of the rock music that was my first musical foundation. When time permits, I also indulge various side projects in musical theater, songwriting, and concert music |

Music Style
Film music, primarily symphonic |
|
Musical Influences
I've always been particularly inspired by the nationalist romantic composers and their successors - Mussorgsky, Rimsky-Korsakoff, Greig, Prokofiev, etc.. |

Artist History
My career began with small independent film projects (some commercial, some student) while I was working towards my Masters in music at New York University. I continued the trend as I studied film music at USC, taking as much advantage as I could of the talented filmmaker population centered at and around the school. These smaller projects led to two feature scoring assignments - a contemporary satire ("Live Long, Drink Juice") and a political thriller ("The F-Zone"). Since then I've completed an action feature ("Maximum Justice" a.k.a. "The Waterfront") starring among others then inimitable Corey Feldman, as well as an indy drama ("All Over Again" starring Robert Loggia and Craig T. Nelson). I'm starting preparation for my next feature score, "Home Room" by MOR Entertainment. |
