Artist History
After cutting their musical teeth by playing in underground psychedelic funkbands in the late 1960's, the members of LLS met at a record swap at a Texan flea market in the early 70's, and joined together by their love of macaroni and collecting turn of the century opera costumes, they formed a band to play progressive rock epics a la King Crimson and ELO. They later cut their hair and started playing shorter more upbeat songs by the end of the decade. During the 1980's the band moved to England to form a synth pop band, inspired by listening to Duran Duran records backwards while drinking new Coke and eating too many packets of Pop Rocks. In the early 90's, LLS wore alot of black clothes and makeup and moved into a hard core techno direction before settling on the pop/punk sounds that you hear today. |
