Artist History
Darren has been involved in music for a long time. When he was a young boy he would help his Dad play and sing at Family Reunions. Darren received most of his vocal training in his school chior, from grades six thru twelve. Darren and his Family moved to Kissimmee, Florida when he was fourteen. At this time Darren started singing at local campgrounds for tips or donations. After High School Darren auditioned and was chosen to perform on a regular bases at the Kissimmee Opry Show. When the Opry Show moved to Alabama Darren went with them, as he was a major part of the show. Darren and the house band started performing at local venues and were well received, they were known as D.C. (Darren Coleman) and the Cheaha Wranglers. Darren enterted and won a few talent contest's and slowly took his dream to Nashville, this is when it all started. After recording his two songs in November of 1998, Darren worked hard to record a full CD. Darren was begining to see a lot of good things rolling in the right direction, so he desided to use a stage name, (Darren Rhodes). Now Darren records his full CD titled: "Jesse Told Becky Goodbye" at KMA Records in Nashville, TN. Darren knows that with God as his Master his Dreams will become reality someday. |
