Artist description
The music is spherical and hard, at which pop elements also come into play. they're mixing grooving, driving rhythms with fat guitars and melodic vocals.Because of their elektro-rock influences they're experimenting with effects they create on their own and whereby theye create a very own style. Especially the "cosmic-flange-effect" of Olli (voice), gives their songs this unique COSMIC TRIBE flavour. They like to call it "Cosmic-Rock".Influences are surely in the grunge/alternative of the early 1990's, but also finding in the electro-rock of nowadays. Bands like "The Police", "Primus", "The Offspring", 70's rock and the "Beatles" surely have influenced and still do influence their music. But all these words and names cannot and should not replace an audition of the music. To paint yourself a picture of their style you need to hear it, because it's not possible to describe music - you need to feel it! |

Artist History
They started as a school band under the name MADJAC, played their hard rocking music all over northern Germany, made it to the US and played a couple of gigs over there. They took part in band contests, which they mostly won, released a couple of their songs on CD compilations and produced a CD themselves. They know their business, they played their ass off and finally found their style. FAT GROOVES WITH SPACE ALIKE HOOKS ...the result is the birth of COSMIC TRIBE!!! They gave their music the right name and they're ready for the next millenium! |
