Artist History
Ben Burgess of Watkinsville was fortunate enough to be selected to perform at the Jim Ed Brown Theater which led to an invitation to perform on the world famous Grand Ole Opry Stage in Nashville. He then moved to Nashville where he resided for two years. While in Nashville, Ben formed the band River Road and played in numerous locations such as Douglas Corner Cafe, Ace of Clubs and many other clubs on Music Row. Ben became a demo singer for many Hall of Fame songwriters such as Wayland Holyfield, Byron Hill, and Mike Dekle. He also had the opportunity to work with Kenny Rogers former producer Larry Butler and showcased at the Ace of Clubs. The performance was televised on TNN. After returning to Watkinsville, Ben cut his CD "Blue Collar Dollar" at Full Moon Studios. He continues to persue his dream performing live any chance he gets. |
