Artist History
The band was born in a Boise crack house with a huge sink hole in the middle of the yard on 25 Wheeler St. Boise, ID in summer 1996, then moved to a studio called CCU (Cultural Center of the Universe) but the band's name stayed. The whole time they played gigs, they wondered who would be living in that sh_t hole, but never cared to find out. Released their last CD album "Your Shoes on My Feet", recorded with a 4-track, right before one of the guys was shipped out the country 'cause he didn't have enough dough in his pocket. They are still working on new recordings sending tapes and MD's over the Pacific. One of the songs recorded that way made it on a local compilation CD "Big Trouble in River City" released by Coming in Second Records. 25Wheeler spin-off project bands such as Plumb Bomb, The Central Boise Thermal Zone, and Tony's Pizza are currelntly in business in Boise and else where. |

Press Reviews
25Wheeler has pop sensibility. Their sound is definitely original, featuring is poppy, fast, yet somewhat sensitive rock-n-roll. 25Wheeler is a fun band, all smiles on stage. They look like a wholesome bunch of lads all with their own unique image. Did I mention Sam's hair? The music 25Wheeler plays sounds similar to that Lookout! Records sound. Almost everything they play sounds light and happy. 25Wheeler deserves a listen.- by Gene Piccotti "the Arbiter" |
