Artist History
After a while playing guitar in the Oslo bands "Violet Scene" and "Wendy House",Asbjørn decided to play his own songs. He had done some songwriting during his "Violet Scene" period. The result was the two brilliant pop songs "For a second" and "Uncertian destination", and now he wanted to make more pop music. "POP GOES THE WORLD" was born. The music can be described as melancholic pop with great vocal harmonies, strings and guitars. Enjoy the songs!!! POP IT GOES!!!!! |

Press Reviews
About the song GLOW from Garageband.com: top 100 trackone of the better track ive heard tonight...great guitar riffs... sweet vocals Good Soundtrack feel Great sounding stuff for soundtracks in mind... Great Melodic Rocker Excellent work! I love the vocalist! Do I hear stings? They sound great, whatever they are. The arrangement is pretty solid. A very good feel good rocker! The singer reminds me of the guy from Tears for Fears. Commercial, but good! It's so nice to hear a bass player playing a melodic line in a pretty straight forward song rather than the usual root notes. Perhaps a U2 influence here?? Guitar line is simple and effective, and a catchy melody wraps this song into a great track. Nice and radio friendly, without being contrived. Really liked it. A PLACE I KNOW: The Smiths we're not This song has a sort of 'New Order' feel tempered with all the best of the 80s pop senibilities... good Great pop. The vocals sound really neat. Good Job This track has a cool sound. Good Luck in getting the recording contract. This track sounds really cool and deserves to win the recording contract. Keep up the great work! |
