Artist History
Peggy spent her early career in LA writing songs for other artists and writing and singing for national commercials. Her songwriting produced hits including "Celebrate", Elle Mac's 1996 hit which reached #3 on the Billboard dance charts and continues to air frequenty on MTV's "Road Rules" and the song "Now I See" which was released in 1998 by Quincy Jones' artist, R&B legend Tata Vega.While driving to the studio, a semi-truck hit Lebo and pushed her car down the freeway for more than a mile. Miraculously surviving, Lebo decided to spend her recovery time discovering her own voice as an artist. The result was her 1998 debut album "First Breath". |
