Artist description
Pain Magnet is arguably the most original unsigned act out of Ohio right now. The band consists of two parts. All studio work is done mostly by their mastermind producer and engineer Paul Phipps. A total of 4 full-length albums (3 vocal, 1 instrumental) have spawned from him since 1996. The live outfit currently has 4 members. The music is composed of many different modern styles, ranging from heavy electronic rock to hip hop to ambient classical. The songs are challenging intellectually, emotionally and technically. The music is attainable by a wide range of audiences. Pain Magnet challenges any listener to categorize their style. |
