Artist description Just me, Bryan. The artist entry thing wouldn't let me just put my name as the band name for some reason so I came up with this band name. I'm in one band and often play with others, but this is the music that I have been doing outside the band setting (basically because It's hard to find people willing to play it...) For those who see the raw beauty of sound, this is for you. What you will find here ranges from structured "songs" to disjointed noise and a lot in between. Some of these pieces were pseudo-improvisation around a structure and others were written note for note before they ever got played, but everything is engineered toward an experience... not an objective judgement. So relax for a minute and listen. It's not background music.

Artist History I've been playing music most of my life really. When I was very small, my brothers and I would make little instruments out of pieces of wood and fishing wire among other things. I've always been diametrically opposed to playing within a genre and even more so as I continue to become familiar with artists who share my love for experimentation. I formed the band High Treason in High School with a friend and we mainly stuck to rock and blues. We released an album in 1995 and will perhaps release another in the not too distant future, but Genno is my project apart from High Treason: the outlet for music that doesn't fit with the band's format.
