Press Reviews
Desktop Radio EP:"Three songs recorded in December 1997, featuring the band's punchy guitar-driven melodies, somewhat in the style of Down by Law mixed with some primo indie rock (think Lemonheads). There's some heavier guitar chug that adds a bit of power, but the real key to FRC are Sean Adams' unique vocals. He has a way of sustaining syllables to extend the melody lines of songs, turning the lyrics into sounds which communicate their meaning more through emotion than wordplay. It's always a pleasure to run across a guy in a punk rock band who can really sing." -- Jim Testa, Jersey Beat -- Fall 1998 |
