Artist History In a very short time, Fixed Idea has managed to gain respect and popularity in various cities in the Lone Star State. Based out of El Paso, Texas, Fixed Idea is a ska band rich in influences. There is no denying the raw punkness of the band with touches of Op Ivey. However, what makes Fixed Idea such a fun and interesting band is its energy and its desire to preserve a culture, a way of life, unique to the border area.
