Artist History I play guitar and write songs since 1993.I made a demo for Universal and i had an interest from EMI.A famous Canadian trip hop band wants to work with me.I am one of the 15 finalists in ROXY 2000 competition.I played at ROXY stage.I played in festivals,colleges,universities,street festivals.I am one of the 10 finalists in Manhattan Ice Dream best song competition.I am meant to play in support of TRICKY concert.I have been interviewed by 3 famous newspapers: Radical , Milliyet2000 , Morning ; youngster magazin called SHE in Turkey.You can see them by clicking on PRESS button. Press Reviews Reviews for 4/14/00 By Bob Porri Artist - Ece Dorsay Song - What the hell is goin on !?With an irresistible simplicity of recording, Ece shines through on all of her songs. There is something about her songwriting that reminds me of Dylan, but with a definite Rock edge. I started out to review the first song listed on her mp3.com page, but ended up downloading (i.e. devouring) what was available for full downloads, and listening to the rest!All of the songs are rather short and could arguably be considered almost “one section” pieces. There are solos and there are verses and some nice hook choruses set up within the basic chord progressions, but the uninhibited simple chord patterns continue throughout each song once they are established. The lyrics and especially the melodies are very good. Ece’s voice is honest and I found it impossible not to get drawn into it, and the overall presentation of the songs immediately.If you check out some of the pictures on her page and listen to her songs, you’ll probably understand it when I say this young lady may not have to be standing next to wax versions of her favorite artists too much longer!Could these songs stand some further development? Probably.Are they good enough as they are? Probably.Would I personally like to hear a full band version of these tunes? Absolutely!Will you enjoy listening to this talent?
