Artist description
Marceiej Pawlowski is one of Poland's hottest musical talents. He is a composer, arranger, audio engineer and voice programmer with YAMAHA Europe NV21 and Panasonic Polska (Technics synthesizers). A specialist in hard disk recording systems, Dolby surround and Dolby digital AC3 encoding techniques, Maciej has created some memorable songs and for radio and television spots. He has also written music for theaters, computer games and multimedia introductions. Maciej is joint owner of the new Music Production Studio SPOT S.C., one of Poland's biggest, most modern recording studios. Specializing in film post production and sound advertising, the studio works closely with the top Polish TV and radio stations, as well as the leading advertising agencies. Here are some of his main achievements:· Music for the drama "The Little Prince" by A. De Sait Exupery· Orchestral score for the pantomime "Magic Castle", a Polish-German collaboration· The CD album "Nokia X-press JA", a hardcore techno compilation which sold over 100,000 copies in Poland and was nominated for the Golden Eagle award as best modern music album · Jingles for Poland's largest radio station, RMF FM - put together for the station's Seat promotion - nominated for the Tytan award in 1999 in the category Best Music / Song Production· Regularly creates music for the European music library Paris Music. Has just finished work on two pieces for the album "Robots and Computers". · Has created soundtracks for computer games such as "Target", "Bullidor" (Ganymede Technologies), "Slam Tilt Resurrection" (21st Century), and "Earth 2150 Escape from the Blue Planet" (TopWare AG). The TopWare collaboration is currently much in demand, registering thousands of downloads on it first day on the Internet. Currently, Maciej has devoted himself 100% to his studio work, where he is immersed in a large surround project for cinema use, and a promotion campaign for one of Poland's biggest breweries. The studio has recently wrapped up production of a CD album which will be distributed by either Pomaton EMI or BMD Ariola Poland. |
