Artist description Hot Air consists of Dave Scollin playing soprano & alto sax as well as clarinet, recorder, keyboard & some vocals. He uses a Korg N364 keyboard and various MIDI software programs including Cubase VST to arrange, record and mix his music. Live instrumental recordings are added & mixed using Cubase VST & a Mac G3. The final mix is saved as an AIFF file and then converted to mp3.

Artist History Dave Scollin has been playing clarinet & saxophone for over 30 years. He has played in many college bands including the Cal Poly San Luis Obispo Wind Ensemble & Jazz Band, the UC Berkeley Jazz Band, Mendocino College Jazz Band, Ukiah Symphony Orchestra & Ukiah Saxophone Quartet. He has also played clarinet & sax in the pit orchestra for numerous musical stage productions.
