Artist description
Segue is an Ultra Cool four piece groove machine with great lyrics that will rock your socks off. (Hope you washed your feet this week). Most adjective-challenged musiclovers would call us contempo-alterna-classic rock; but they would be missing the latin-flavored, blues-tinged, reggae-soaked raga in our musical molotov cocktail. These songs describe everything and everyone - the world we live in, your mom, the zombies you pass on the sidewalk, all to an unshakeably hip rhythmic beat. (passage deleted at the request of the FBI) change the world, and there is no better way to communicate than with music. Our live shows often feature guest musicians: If you were at a recent live date you would have seen the ever smokin' Mr. Jay Scott (Rons' brother) on electric guitar. |

Artist History
Segue has been rocking the Boston area for over six years with various personnel. Segue was first deliriously envisioned by E.Dan Martinez. He writes many of our songs and has recruited a myriad of players to this conglomerate. Alongside Ron Scott (bass) and Ned Armsby (drums and percussion) there have been horn players, singers, fiddlers, and bongoists attempting to achieve "ear candy for the mind." An early incarnation in 1995 featured current guitarist Rafi Sofer. While Rafi was living in New Orleans from 96-99 he kept up to date with Segue's progress, and upon returning to the Boston area in late 1999 he quickly rejoined the unit which Ned, Ron and Dan had been fine-tuning in the three years previous. |

Group Members
E.Dan Martinez is responsible for the words, melodies, voice, and even plays guitar when he's not too busy singing. Ned Armsby presides on the throne of the drum kit and percussion. Mr. Ron 'Rico' Scott is the back bone on the bass. Raphael Sofer is filling in guitars and tapes. |

Additional Info
We were recently nabbed for covering J.P. in Segue fliers; the ensuing media circus allowed the crew behind the Big Dig to escape prosecution for polluting the water supply and making off with an extra US $3 million in taxpayer money. What's up with that? |
