Artist description
Geek Rock. Sort of like Weezer meets Devo, and then has sex with the Queers, and in a way, I guess that would be queer. Very New Wave/Pop Punk I guess, more on the pop than the punk. The only Punk part is the sloppyness I guess. |

Artist History
Originally formed in 1995 as a HAM (www.mp3.com/ham). Toured all over the Midwest and Put out 3 Full Length as well as other numrous oddity albums under the name HAM. We have had several songs appear in movies under the name HAM, including Troma's latest release "Terror Firmer" and Todd Sheet's latest movie "Zombie Bloodbath 3".In 2000 we decided since we had switched guitars and didn't really like the name HAM anyway, that we switch to a new name. We had used The Kill-O-Watts name before as our surf band, so we decided just to use that name then we decided to make it even more confusing and call ourselves "The Amazing Killowatts". We have an amazingly crazy animated live show. As you can see we were mathcing uniforms and we have matching guitar straps. We have cheesy Devo-esque Choreography mixed with aggressive jumps and guitar twirls. You really have to see us live to appreciate us fully. |
