Artist description The Confessions are a four piece blues rockin', gospel singin', trash-glam sex machine from the old west mining town of Colorado Springs, Co.Crooner and screamer Fixx Fatale and bass muther fucker Loose Cannon (also known as the "Glimmer Twins") had been partners in crime, rock'n'roll, and countless other unmentionable activities for three years under the name "The Deadites", shaping and perfecting (ha ha) what quickly became the only thing in town worth doing (that's shows ass hole, we're easy, but we ain't that easy).After eight or nine drummers, a few guitar players, a full length album, numerous chicks, and one baby, The Glimmer Twins found a pearl in the diamond world, one Ash Tre, God, or maybe someone else's gift to the art of drums, only to be replaced by the unnamed drummer #10, formerly in the band Bobba Fett Youth. The Confessions most recent acquisition is the infathomably beautiful Heather "My" Michelle Howk who assist with vocals as is necessary. Out in the streets and ready to party, the band made the heavy decision to change their name. They needed something with more style, more attitude, and more grace. They needed something a little more black. They came up with The Confessions and got things started in a position that felt better (he he).This century's first spring will see the boys on their second tour, the release of their big seven inch on Craptacular Records, and a song on the Caroline Records "Fistful of Rock'n'Roll" compilation series which also includes The Murder City Devils, The Supersuckers, The Dwarves, The BellRays, The Black Halos, Jeff Dahl, Electric Frankenstein and many many others. The Confessions do it hot, hard, dirty and rough, with a gentle touch thrown in for good measure (not that they need it). They want the world, right fuckin' now!!! So come along for the ride.
