Artist History Somah started in CT. and relocated to Burlington, VT in 1996. They broke up for various reasons early in 1998 and went their seperate ways. Soon after that, Dave put together a recording studio and started working with on a solo album, as well as some songs with John. As things progressed, Dave asked Joe to start working with him again, and it didn't take long before all three of them were recording an album together. They choose to stay with the name Somah, because when Joe and Dave founded the band in 1992, they had a studio based vision of the sound they wanted to create, and this new offering harkens back to the orginally intended style of experimentation and texturing they were focusing on before morphing into a live jam band.
