Artist History
Formed in late 1993 as "Log," somewhere in a dark basement outside of Cleveland. Discovered another Ohio band with the same name, lost a guitar, and gained a banjo. Changed the name to "Planet Log." Planet Log, in addition to playing in various Cleveland, Akron, and other reasonable-driving-distance venues, self-released a CD, "Venus in Leopard Print," and recorded a 3-song demo tape produced by Kramer (Noise New Jersey) in 1996. Lost the banjo in early 1997, and briefly found a new guitarist. Changed the band's name to "Planet Log 3000" to reflect a change in style to a more "rocking" sound. Lost the new guitarist, formed the current lineup in late 1997, and resumed playing gigs in early 1998. Began pre-production for a new CD in 1999-2000. Hope to release the finished CD in late 2001. |
