    Artist History
Pinkerton: Four musicians who share the same passion – Pop Music. Is Pop Music a passion? These are four lads with different angles and views. They are four distinct personalities writing and performing together to create music. At some point in your life you have to sit back and let your dreams manifest themselves into something more that popularity or the envy of others accomplishments. Peter Sacco is the singer/guitarist who gives the band a wit not seen in others. His ambivalence for what others think is an asset for Pinkerton . Matt Iddings is the singer/lead guitarist that the compass point heading in the other direction. His attention to detail and professionalism keeps the others from the edge of chaos. It’s not so much that Matt is the mother of the band it is that he is the glue that keeps the pages of the book together or the rope that binds them together. Robbie Terry is the bass player who is a little of both Matt and Peter. His instincts are usually dead on perfect. He shares Peter’s passion for the unthinkable and Matt’s attention to detail. Doug Cox is a man who knows what he likes and discards the rest. He is meticulous in creation or recreation of a mood. His personality is felt rather than heard but it is he who changes the musical course of Pinkerton. When Robbie asked me to write something for the web site I said, “Look I write stories not reviews besides I’ve never actually seen Pinkerton play. All I’ve heard are the songs”. He looked at me and said “That's the point, it’s the music I’m after not if Peter is the incarnation of Jim Morrison”. Is Pop Music a passion for Pinkerton? You figure it out.By Alex Greenwood
