Artist History Flag is a project that started many years ago in the mind of Arthur Offen. Born in 1949, he is a long time studio musician and performing veteran. It wasn't until he met Jon Sherman in Boston, Massachusetts that this idea of his would start to come to fruition. Born in 1970, Jon graduated from the Berklee College of Music and was the perfect counter-part to complete the sound they were looking for. They set out to create a musical and visual statement that would combine all of their shared interests in rock n' roll, poetry, and the visual arts. Their hard work in those months of pre-production, and subsequent recording the following summer, has resulted in this finished work called Flag. They are currently writing for future efforts.
