Artist description
Digital Ritual describes an increasing spirituality that modern society has placed upon artificial intelligence. Perhaps this form of "computer worship" is a way to justify the shame we feel at having become so completely dependent upon something so synthetic. We have no culture left, no icons, only digits; a collection of ones and zeros to define us and fill our spiritual void. Where once we believed in Gods and Devils, all we now have left to idolize and worship is our own technology. Where we once mastered our tools, we find that now WE are the ones subjugated to our own creations. Computers have become symbiotic to the human existence -- they are a hairs breadth away from becoming omnipresent. |

Press Reviews
LISTEN.COM says: "Skillful balance of Techno and Industrial Dance attacks the club floor like a brawl between Liam Howlett and Trent Reznor. Evil guitars dominate ruthless beats and breaks as bleepy acid bits bore holes into deep basslines and standing synths." -- KARM FARM UNIVERSE says: "This is what Trent Reznor would sound like, if he was a hippy. I kid you not. Actual genuine rave rock that uses the best bits of both- rock feel with rave intensity and danceability" |
