Artist description
ANTITESI (Anthitesis) is a creative project begun in 1989. Its external features may have changed, but its essential goal has not: to create in order to fill the void. This void generated by society itself and by the system that governs it crushes the individual: sacrified on the altar of industrial productivity and excessive consumerism. The quest for existential paths other than the ones imposed on us all converges with an unusual use of technology until a symbiosis is at work between the thinking interactive entity and machines. The expected result is technology experienced through existence. ANTITESI experiences opposites as a synthesis, while the psychic primordial explorer sits side by side with the technological man. The human being, finally free from the superstructures of the system, society, and the family, may return to the Source to heal the schizophrenia of Third Millennium man. |
