Artist description
Singer/songwriter Tony DiCorpo has been singing and playing guitar for nearly twenty years. You will find him playing his tunes in a bar with his band, The High Tide or in a coffeehouse with just his acoustic guitar. His three chord, acoustic-based style comes from the heart. The Cleveland, Ohio native mixes country and folk with a rock feel to get a style that most classify as Alt Country, or more recently, Western Beat. Regardless of the proper classification, just refer to it as country. Tony currently resides in Austin, TX |

Artist History
Tony's writing began by accident in the college years of the mid-eighties. "I was writing some thoughts down and discovered the words would sound great with music." Realizing that he had true appreciation for music and songwriting, he thought he'd give it a whirl. He already played the guitar so it stuck and Tony's been hooked ever since. His first full length CD titled "Count Me In" on Tad Records is slated for a January 2001 release. |
