Press Reviews
Smakhead has been around for a short time, but has grown by leaps and bounds. They continue to pack the bars everytime they perform and have a loyal fan base that is reminiscent of a band that has been around for years. They have been featured on 98 KUPD and have been asked to contribute some of their music to soundtracks and videos. Their new CD XXXL is a breathe of fresh air in todays music scene. Bringing rock back into the forefront, Smakhead combines powerful guitars with melodic lyrics. Not focusing on one particular style, Smakhead has something for everyone to enjoy. They are 4 down to earth guys who found a way to make music fun again. Cracking jokes in between songs and making fun of one another replaced the serious I'm gonna kick your as? after the show attitude. With a new album full of adrenaline pumping rock, they are poised to make their mark on the Valley's music scene. Watch out for these guys in the coming year. Smak |
