Artist History R.M.C.’s “Nu-Age Hip Hop Midwest Flava”, brings new life and originality to the world of rap music. Hailing from Robbins, Illinois, a south suburb of Chicago, R.M.C. is no stranger to the stage. He has performed in a number of showcases throughout the Chicagoland area including: the Clique nightclub, where he won 1st place four straight weeks, Club Sidelines and Elegant Image “Road to Stardom” showcase. In 1998 R.M.C. was presented with a Diamond award by 7 Diamond productions in recognition of his achievements in Entertainment. Those achievements include R.M.C.’s second passion, acting. R.M.C.’s film and television credits include: “Love Jones”, starring Lorenz Tate and Nia Long, “Hoodlums”, starring Lawrence Fishbourn and Cicely Tison and “Soul Food”, starring Vanessa Williams and Nia Long, “Chicago Hope”, “ER”, and “Early Edition”.R.M.C. is an engaging and electrifying performer on stage and a consummate professional off stage.
