Artist History
Legendary in certain circles, Puma rocketed into mainstream culture as BBC Radio 1's Sound City wisely rejected their application for a place in the line up. However, an indifferent review in local music mag Nightshift helped those wonderful cats forge a relationship with the radio station Oxygen 107.9 FM. A documentary charting Puma's history and road to anonimity was aired on the radio station in the Summer of 1998. This was immediately followed by their largest gig to date at the unknown Wheatsheafstock event in Oxford. |
