Artist History
Maniacal Hook formed in 1980, when Maniacal Hook was birthed. In 1990, Maniacal Hook's first release, "Gary Tuerack Is A God," became a smash hit worldwide. Shortly after, Maniacal Hook disbanded and vowed never to reunite. One month later, they reunited. Their second, and most controversial release, "Gary Tuerack Might Not Actually Be A God," sold 18 copies in the U.S. Maniacal Hook was forced underground to live amongst a nomadic gnome culture known only as Randerso. In 1999, with the aid of techno artist 'Locke', Maniacal Hook returned to the "top-landers" world and began making music again. |
