Artist description
The Love-Sick Prairie Dogs are a high energy, rockin' country band comprised of experienced singer/songwriter/musicians from the Los Angeles and Bakersfield areas of Southern California. This band inserts silky smooth harmonies into danceable, radio friendly, original songs that continuously push the edge of the country genre. The word that is used to describe live performances by the Love-Sick Prairie Dogs is "electrifying". The energy level is so high when "the Dogs" perform that unless you don't dance the electricity is sure to get your feet moving right onto the dance floor. |

Artist History
L.S.P.D. was formed a few years ago by Jim and Owen. Karin was the latest addition to the "Dogs". The combination of Jim and Owens' harmonies surrounding Karin's lead vocals is what gives the Love-Sick Prairie Dogs their smooth, characteristic sound. Combine this with the "smokin'" B-Bender guitar playing from Bob and you have a recipe for high energy harmonic country. With enough original material to fill over two CD's, the Love-Sick Prairie Dogs are rapidly gaining the reputation of not only being a great live performance band, but one that has superior song writing to go with it.
