Artist description
Though the closest artist we can relate her to is Sarah MacLachlan, Lindsey Kerton has a unique sound and style that does not categorize easily. Her earlier songs reflect the folk-influenced sounds of acoustic-vocal artists, featuring the beautiful guitar work of Canadian guitarist Marc VanGool ("Half The Sky" and "Brown Eyed Susans"). Her upcoming releases will involve more full-band arrangements (with Marc continuing on guitar), and are currently in production. |

Artist History
Lindsey remembers her love of vocal music beginning early in childhood with Joan Baez as her early inspiration. A California native, she studied music and vocal performance at the acclaimed "Musician's Institute" in Hollywood. There she teamed with Canadian guitarist Marc VanGool to begin a partnership that has lasted over three years. There have been alot of bumps in the road so far, but Lindsey's time has come! These songs are pre-releases of her current album, though they are actually among her first songs. Keep checking back for new songs to be added periodically. |
