Artist History I was working hard in the laboratory. Suddenly, a burst of plasma andsmoke broke open the stained oaken door leading from this low end of the stairs.My confusion broke way to the sudden realization that two droids, namely R2D2 and C3PO, were flanking me in an ellipsoid flocking pattern. I ran toward the two-by-four foot window that was the only gopher hole out of the basement. I was snatched just as my fist broke the glass. C3 held my left pant leg and pulled my head back by my long, straighthair. R2 then drove his projector tube directly against my eye and burn-grafted 203 hours of SETI data onto my cornea. Meanwhile C3 was screaming simultaneously in 1.8 billion tongues, "We're right here you ignorant f***!" R2 drop kicked me and I went flying into a barrel in the corner. The fermented hashish mush soaked immediately into my skin and clothing. As quickly as they came, they went. I had a story no one, as long as the sun shined, would believe. I make a quick cure to my eye with an alcohol wipe, a dob of Parkay and a drop of liquid acid. I was left to shovel my ruined batch into the garbage bin.
